Wilson Rayfield has earned his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute. He is an architect and principal at Gresham, Smith and Partners.

Thomas Strang has earned his Certified Senior Advisor designation from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. He is with the John Patterson Agency of State Farm Insurance.

Matthew J. Rembold has received his Professional Engineer License from the state Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. He is a project engineer at AES Consulting Engineers. He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech.

Carl Bell has been certified by the state Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation as a professional engineer. He is a staff engineer at Froehling and Robertson Inc.

Brian J. Conron is a project manager in the production management department of Hankins and Anderson's Glen Allen office. He formerly was with Jones Lang LaSalle.

Lynn Kaerwer is a regional engineer in the Richmond operations office of Professional Service Industries Inc. She has been appointed principal consultant for the Phase II/III ESA service line. She earned her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Rice University.

Josh Rinehults has been named director of accounting for the Operations and Distribution Solutions Group for Media General. He most recently was regional controller for the company's Northern Virginia Community Newspapers and previously served as director of internal controls for the company's publishing division.

REAL ESTATE

Matthew Braun has joined the industrial brokerage services group in Thalhimer/Cushman & Wakefield's Richmond office. He has almost 22 years of commercial real estate and construction experience and most recently was with GVA Advantis. Jennifer Semo is a sales associate in the Colonial Heights office of Napier Realtors ERA. Before selling real estate, she worked for the IRS, was a litigation paralegal and worked for Ethan Allen Interiors as a designer in retail sales. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.

John Madures is a leasing and sales associate at Divaris Real Estate Inc. He has 24 years of experience in commercial real estate and most recently was with GVA Advantis. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
