Gould with the Virginia State Bar; and assistant treasurer, Sharon Tatum with the Virginia Law Foundation. Board members are: Jeffrey H. Gray with Troutman Sanders; Manuel A. Janine E. Skerry has been appointed The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's curator of metals.

Edward L. Ayers has been named to the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education Advisory Board. He is president of the University of Richmond.

New officers for the Kiwanis Club of Richmond are: president, Tim Sexton; president elect, Marc Magahee, vice president, Bob Priddy; secretary, Skip Ford; treasurer, Jack Newsome; and immediate past president, Betty Fahed.

Rodney A. Smolla has been appointed chair to the First Freedom Center board of trustees. He is dean of the School of Law at Washington and Lee University.
