Building permit highlight for Oct. 26

Condominiums: One of the units in the second building of the Rivermont Landing Condominiums is under construction at 2026 River Rock Drive in Chesterfield County, minutes from Interstate 95, Interstate 295 and Fort Lee.

In all, there will be 145 condos in 23 buildings, with five to eight condominiums in each building.

The condominiums will have two, three or four bedrooms, 2½ baths and walk-in closets. The twoand three-bedroom units are approximately 1,051 to 1,400 square feet, and the optional fourth bedroom adds 244 square feet.

The cost of the condominiums will start at $149,950.

The contractor is Boyd Homes in Virginia Beach, and the architectural firm is Clifford Associates Inc. in Chesapeake.

The project cost is $150,000, according to the building permit.
