Exhibitors sought for Chesterfield County Fair

The Chesterfield County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension invites you to be an exhibitor in the Arts and Crafts Building at the Chesterfield County Fair.

The fair will be Friday, Aug. 28, through Saturday, Sept. 5. All exhibitors are required to deliver exhibits Thursday, Aug. 27, from 3 to 8 p.m., to the Arts and Crafts Building.

Competition is open in the categories of general farm crops; flowers; foods, including breads, cakes, pies, cookies and candies; canned goods, including vegetables, fruits, relishes, pickles, jellies, jams and preserves; home arts and crafts; quilts; threadworks; sewing; arts; photography; and 4-H.

Entries must be the product or work of the exhibitor. There are no entry fees. No professionals will be allowed to compete in categories associated with their professions.

Pick up your Chesterfield County Fair book, which includes all exhibitor rules and regulations, at the Chesterfield County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension, 6807 Mimms Loop (in the Chesterfield County government complex) or at any county library in August.
