Warbirds on Revue air show in Dinwiddie is canceled
Mechanical issues and a gloomy forecast played a part in canceling the Warbirds on Revue air show scheduled at the Dinwiddie Airport this weekend.
Event organizer Keith Mottas said some of the World War II-era airplanes had mechanical problems and were pulled out of the two-day event. And with a weather forecast calling for rain Saturday, organizers called off the event.
Organizers aim to reschedule the event next spring, Mottas said.
