Stew festival is Saturday
The 10th Annual Brunswick Stew Festival will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 17th Street Farmers' Market in Richmond. More than a dozen stew masters will take on the challenge of impressing the region's diehard stew lovers.
Sample cups of stew will be sold at each booth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. After 1 p.m., quart-sized containers will be available for purchase from each stew master.
This year's festival will include music from Jackass Flats, Proverbial and Native Son.
Free parking is available at 18th and Grace streets.
