Maybe it's a little early to start thinking about ghosts and spirits and other creepy things, but The Tobacco Company Restaurant and The Berkeley Hotel are providing the perfect scenario for those looking for a few chills.

The restaurant and hotel have paired for a Shockoe Slip Ghost Tour Package that will be offered every Friday and Saturday throughout the month.

The cost is $120 per person for a narrated haunted tour of the Slip, dinner for two at The Tobacco Company (1201 E. Cary St.) and overnight accommodations, room-service breakfast and free parking at The Berkeley (1200 E. Cary St.).

Texas de Brazil (Regency Square Shopping Center) now offers a bar menu featuring an antipasto plate and meat sampler.

The Brazilian steakhouse is known for its endless supply of meats, cooked Churrascaria style over an open flame. But those who don't feel like consuming the equivalent of a small farm animal can now hang out in the Beijos lounge and nibble on an antipasto platter, including smoked salmon, grilled provolone, olives and a basket of warm cheese bread, or a meat sampler with chicken breast, Brazilian sausage and that delectable cheese bread.

Six Burner (1627 W. Main St.) is offering guests the opportunity to meet its new chef, Philip Denny, with a weeklong promotion starting Monday called, well, "Meet the Chef Week."
