TABLE TALK

-- Fans of Andre's Grill on Courthouse Road might be surprised to know that a couple of months ago, the restaurant changed ownership and now is known as My Restaurant.

Chef-owner Armando Vicenty said he and his business partner, Al Johnson, assumed ownership in July, but the name alternation didn't take effect until October.

The new menu is similar to the one Andre's patrons were used to, with some minor tweaks to amenities, such as the bread served on the table. Seafood and pastas are the primary offerings.

As for the restaurant's unusual moniker, Vicenty said he and Johnson were throwing out possible names when Johnson noted that people often say, "Why not come to my restaurant?"

"It's just something different," Vicenty said.

The restaurant at 3511 Courthouse Road is open Tuesday-Sunday and offers Sunday brunch.
