Michael Jackson tickets to Staples Center service?

» 25 Comments | Post a Comment

Were you one of the lucky 17,000 who won tickets to the Michael Jackson memorial service tomorrow morning at the Staples Center?

Do you know someone who did?

Did you try to get tickets but unfortunately didn't get picked?

We want to hear from you.

lovin: I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve ever mentioned Obama by name so maybe that’s a sore spot for you? And for the record - I mention him here only because it was specifically Obama’s supporters who, when asked by producers of the Howard Stern Show why they supported Obama, gave answers like “his wife is hot” and “he’s pro-life” and “I want to be part of history.“ I’m sure there were Palin and McCain supporters who are equally ill-informed but to date I haven’t seen interveiwes with any of them. Had I, I would have referenced them here.

And by the way - last time I checked it was still a free country (barely)so I can interpret the story any way I darned well like. Go read something else if you don’t like what I have to say.

i would like to go , but it would be honoring someone who has hurt little boys. so no matter how many millions of records he sold and no matter how many people he made rich, at the end of the day he was still a child molester. rest in pease mj.  PS good luck with tthat god thing on judgement day

I was going to enter to get tickets, then I thought I’d just be spammed to no end and not win them anyways

Oh god, everything always has to lead back to OUR PRESIDENT pertaining to any situation. Geez, citycynic, can you post one comment w/o mentioning his name? Really, this has nothing to do with Obama and I wonder how many actions anyone can list that McCain planned to take??? Please inform me? Otherwise, let this story be about MJ and your comments as well….

Good Lord. Non-ticket holders are being told by authorities not to come anywhere near the Staples Center due to traffic and other logistcal problems but there they were on the “Today Show” saying they were coming anyway just to “be part of history”. I loved MJ’s music as much as the next person but he was a MAN, not some God. These are probably the same folks who voted for Obama but couldn’t cite one specific action he planned to take - they just “wanted to be part of history.“ America has lost its mind.
