Michael Jackson's "This Is It" doesn't open until Oct. 28, but interest has been so rampant that thousands of theaters nationwide will hold midnight screenings Oct. 27. Whether or not you attended one of Paul McCartney's concerts to christen New York's new Citi Field this summer, it's worth repeated viewings and listenings. On Nov. 17, "Good Evening New York City" will be released in two formats: a two-CD, one DVD standard edition and a two-CD, two-DVD version featuring extra packaging and McCartney's July 15 performance atop the Ed Sullivan Theater during his visit to David Letterman's talk show. . . . Showtime will reportedly air the Bon Jovi documentary, "When We Were Beautiful," on Oct. 24. The film was shot during the band's 2008 "Lost Highway" tour. . . . The Wilson sisters of Heart have recorded a collection of acoustic lullabies, "Baby Guitars," to be released Tuesday exclusively on Amazon.com. Also available only on Amazon that day is "Dog & Butterfly," the Ann Wilson-created, illustrated children's book based on Heart's album of the same Stewartname. . . . Rod Stewart will release "Soulbook" on Oct. 27, his interpretations of'60s-'70s soul-era classics that also includes duets with Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson. . . . Weezer's "Raditude" has been pushed back a week for release Nov. 3. . . . John Mayer unveils "Battle Studies" on Nov. 17, his first album since 2006's "Continuum." . . .
