Tickets: Journey/Night Ranger coming to coliseum
It will be just like 1980 again when Journey and Night Ranger hit the Richmond Coliseum this fall.
The double bill will come to the venue Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
Journey, which includes longtime members Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross Valory and Deen Castronovo, has had great touring success since enlisting former Journey tribute band singer Arnel Pineda as lead singer in 2007.
Pineda is the band's third frontman since Steve Perry departed in 1998.
Night Ranger is best known for its 1984 hit "Sister Christian," but it also climbed the charts throughout the'80s with "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," "When You Close Your Eyes" and "Sentimental Street."
The band is made up of original members Jack Blades, Kelly Keagy and Brad Gillis, along with guitarist Joel Hoekstra (who also plays in the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages") and keyboardist Christian Matthew Cullen.
Tickets for the concert go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. for $39.50-$69.50.

The date for Lady Gaga's Sept. 24 show at the Landmark Theater has been moved again, this time to Sept. 28.
The pop princess was originally scheduled to play Toad's Place this spring before the venue abruptly closed. The show was then moved to The National before it was postponed until fall and moved to the bigger space at the Landmark.
All tickets purchased for any of the previous dates will be honored Sept. 28. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase.

Pete Best -- yes, that Pete Best -- is coming to The National on Aug. 7
Along with featuring the original drummer for The Beatles, the show will be opened by Beatles tribute band The Return.
Reserved seats are $25-$75 (the $75 ticket includes a meetand-greet with Best and an autographed photo); general-admission tickets are $20.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets, The National box office, http://www.nattickets.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
