Meanwhile, observational humorist Regan comes to the new CenterStage venue Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.

Apparently, KISS fans in Richmond and Charlottesville didn't vote hard enough when the band was soliciting dates for its "Alive 35" tour earlier this summer.
However, the tour is coming to the area, with a stop at the Hampton Coliseum on Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $22.50-$125 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
KISS is celebrating its 35th anniversary and touring behind "Sonic Boom," the band's first new studio album in 11 years. It's set for release Oct. 6 and will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart, Walmart.com and Sam's Club locations.

Some new names to add to The National's marquee:
Last year's "American Idol" winner, David Cook, will bring his friendly rock to the venue Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 ($25 day of show) and go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Also, pop-rockers White Tie Affair, along with Every Avenue, Stereo Skyline and Runner Runner, will hit The Nat on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $13 ($15 day of show) and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the venue box office (Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.), http://www.nattickets.com, all Ticketmaster locations and by calling (800) 745-3000. -- Melissa Ruggieri
