Are they rescheduling?  I would like the chance to see REO. Maybe they could return and do a show at Innsbrook?  From the news story, I don’t think it was low ticket sales, but a conflict with another performance.

TICKETS???? Yea, it would’ve been cool to have THOSE prices. There was a 11.00 conveinence charge tagged on to both of my tickets and other surcharges. Two tickets cost me $162.00. Glad to get it back but I wanted to see the show, my seats were really good. I got them at the pre-sale. I hope they re-schedule.

The best thing styx did was when they canned dennis deyoung.

Not sure if ticket sales was the problem here, but at the very best this was a $15 advance, $20 at the door show and that is with no ticket fees or handling charges added on.  This would have been a good Innsbrook After Hours show.

I’ve seen Styx and REO both at the Coliseum and even met the guys in Styx and partied with them at Hard Times in the Fan.

Everyone’s entitled to their own musical tastes, but let’s just say that neither show ranks as a defining experience in my life.

Since I got comped for both shows, I have no complaints.

They did sell a good number of tickets. Evidently (not confirmed) Trans Siberian Orchestra is playing the next night and they had problems with having those 2 shows back to back. Trans Siberian booked the venue first and was unwilling to reschedule because they are a “seasonal” act….either way it’s cruddy that they had to cancel without rescheduling.

Styx is your favorite band?

ddub,
There are many of us who are just heartbroken that we won’t be able to Styx perform live on Tues. You might want to think about how YOU would feel if you were looking forward to seeing YOUR favorite band…. and the concert got cancelled at the last minute, instead of just making thoughtless comments without knowing the facts.

Gee ddub…

“Why must you be
Such an angry young man,
When your future looks
Quite bright to me.“

Those are all the lyrics I’ll admit to knowing.
