‘Supernanny’ filming in Midlothian

In Midlothian, someone's behavior is very naughty.

The ABC reality show "Supernanny" is filming its first episode in Virginia in Chesterfield County. Cameras, crew and no-nonsense nanny Jo Frost will be in a Midlothian-area subdivision through Sunday.

Now in its fifth season, the show features a weekly family in need of help raising their children. Frost, who began the show in her native England, comes in and observes the family's procedures and makes recommendations. A week or so later, she returns to see if her ideas have resulted in improvements.

ABC is not identifying the family while the show is being filmed.

A network spokeswoman said it was not yet clear when the local episode will air. It is possible, though unlikely, that it could even show before the current season ends May 1. More likely is that it will air next season, although it is possible it will be shown in the summer. -- Daniel Neman
