Auditions for Oct. 11

AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS -- Director George Macklin Jr. and musical director Diana Covington Greer seek a pre-or early teenage boy soprano for the role of Amahl, and a soprano, late 20s to mid-30s, for the role of Amahl's mother. Singers of all vocal ranges are invited to audition for the shepherds' chorus and possible other character roles. Auditions will be held tomorrow and Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pine Camp Arts and Community Center, 4901 Old Brook Road. Performers are not paid. Details: (804) 646-1031.
