In conjunction with June's First Fridays Artwalk, Ghosprint Gallery will open the Richmond Illustrators Club's third annual juried show tomorrow from 7 to 10 p.m.

The gallery received about 150 submissions from illustrators from across the country as well as the United Kingdom, said gallery owner Geraldine Duskin.

Juror Marshall Arisman, chair of the Illustration as Visual Essay program at the School of Visual Arts in New York, selected about 40 to include in the show. The exhibition spotlights work by many Richmond artists. It will remind viewers of the city's strong illustration community, Duskin said.

The show also includes a "Salon des Refuses," in which the show's curators exhibit a small number of works not chosen by Arisman.

The exhibition runs through June 27 at 220 W. Broad St. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m.
