Botanical-themed works by Henrico County middle-schoolers are on display in the Robins Visitors Center at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Lakeside.

For seven years, Lewis Ginter has partnered with the Henrico County school system to offer rotating student art exhibitions, said children's education coordinator Kelly Riley.

"It's a great opportunity for the students," she said. "Our guests and staff are in awe of their work. It's so amazing to see how children interpret the world around them."

In addition, visitors may view a 50-foot installation of hand-cut and assembled floral images as well as framed drawings by Nicole Baumann in Lewis Ginter's education building. The Baumann exhibition runs through July 11; the student exhibition runs through Aug. 4 at Lewis Ginter, 1800 Lakeside Ave. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
