CultureWorks is a new area arts advocacy group. John Bryan is the president, the same role he held for the group’s predecessor, the Arts Council of Richmond. He’ll be assisted by one full-time and one part-time employee and a board of directors. Hunton & Williams partner Brooks Smith, a writer and radio commentator, is the chairman. There are 23 other board members, with more to be added in the coming months.
