Free training scheduled by Chesterfield Domestic Violence Task Force

The Chesterfield County Domestic Violence Task Force will present a free mini-training on March 23, 3-4:30 p.m., at the Chester Library, 11800 Centre St.

"A Framework for Understanding Poverty: A Way of Thinking to Better Understand Our Clientele," is based on training methods of poverty expert Ruby K. Payne. The training is open to victim advocates, social workers, and anyone who is interested in understanding how poverty can affect or impede the healing process after domestic violence.
