Masonic groups to host joint charity ball June 20

The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Virginia and the Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Stars of Virginia will host a joint charity ball June 20 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Sheraton West Hotel, 6624 W. Broad St., in Richmond.

The black-tie event will highlight the two Masonic organizations' charitable giving to organizations, including the Prostate Cancer Fund, Sickle Cell Anemia Fund, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and to students throughout Virginia through scholarships.

Ernest Waller & Smooth Sensations Band will perform at the event.
