Recipe: Jersey Dirt

Makes 12 servings.

Use a large casserole dish or a new 8-inch clay or plastic flower pot. If using the flower pot, plug the hole by placing a plastic container lid in the bottom.

Crush ¾ of the cookies. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. In a separate bowl, mix milk and pudding, add to butter mixture. Fold in whipped topping.

Place a layer of cookie crumbs on the bottom of the casserole dish or pot. Put a layer of pudding mix over crushed cookies, repeat if necessary. End with crushed cookies on top. Garnish with whole cookie or new artificial flower. Refrigerate, serve cold.
