  • 1 bunch kale, washed and chopped
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 handful black olives
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 swirls around the bowl with liquid aminos*
  • 3 swirls around the bowl with olive oil
  • Nutritional yeast, to taste**
  • 3 dashes vinegar
  • *Liquid aminos are a protein concentrate derived from soybeans.

    **Nutritional yeast is a nutritional supplement made from sugar cane and beet molasses.

    Combine kale, tomato, olives and garlic in a large bowl. Add liquid aminos, olive oil, nutritional yeast and vinegar, then mix.

    Maat Free said she never cooks with measuring spoons or cups. As a result, her dishes evolve over time. With her "RBG," she said, "I started playing with it until I got my own vibe with it." She suggests experimenting with this dish and any other -- and make it suit your tastes. She also recommends using organic foods that are locally grown.
