Slow cooker advice needed
After last week's Food story on slow cookers, a reader called to say she's always had a problem with her slow cookers cooking too hot and cooking too fast, even on the lowest setting.
She's looking for a slow cooker that truly cooks slowly.

Find an old one at a yard sale, they have lower temperatures.
