Health and Safety Day is March 11 in Fredericksburg
Children's Hospital of Richmond is seeking participants for the third annual Fredericksburg Health and Safety Day from 10 a.m. to noon March 11, at the Fredericksburg Field House, 3411 Shannon Park Drive in Fredericksburg.
Health and Safety Day is a free event geared toward pre-school and kindergarten-age children from public, private and home schools in Fredericksburg.
This year's event is expected to have 400 to 500 children in attendance. Children will visit interactive booths and learn about age-appropriate health and safety issues, including fire safety, nutrition information and dental hygiene.

Children's Hospital of Richmond began as a small clinic in 1917. It now serves thousands of children each year through the main hospital location in Richmond and at therapy centers in Fredericksburg, Petersburg, Glen Allen and Midlothian.
