Holiday card contest

Hey kids, share your holiday spirit and show off your creativity in our card contest.

Come up with your own special holiday greeting card, not one from the store, but one from your own imagination. The only rule: The card has to be handmade, not computer-generated.

Firstand second-place winners will be selected in two groups: through second grade, and grades three to five.

All the winners will receive Kids Extra prize packs. In addition, the first-place winner in the younger age group will receive a family membership to the Children's Museum and a $50 gift card to Bottega Bistro restaurant. The first-place winner for grades three to five will receive a family membership to the Science Museum of Virginia and a $50 gift card to Bottega Bistro.

Include your name and age, school, home phone number and parents' or guardians' name.

We'll publish the winners in our Dec. 21 edition of Flair.
