"Stormwater Academy": Friends of Chesterfield's Riverfront and Chesterfield County Department of Environmental Engineering offer a program to teach simple principles to reduce and treat runoff and protect water quality in the county and the Chesapeake Bay, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Spinnaker's Restaurant, Chesterfield Towne Center, 11500 Midlothian Turnpike, and a rain-barrel workshop 6:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at a location to be announced.
