Virginia Home holds fundraiser
The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls recently held its second Band Together fundraiser at the Richmond home of Kelly and Tiff Armstrong.
About 240 people attended the Oct. 2 event, which raised $45,000 through ticket sales and sponsorships.
The event featured one of the home's graduates talking about his life experiences, music by The Dickens, cocktails and a buffet.
