Speaker series to feature talk on Civil War book

The Special Speakers Series at Pamunkey Regional Library in Ashland will feature Dr. Ritchie Watson, author of the new book "Normans and Saxons: Southern Race Mythology and the Intellectual History of the American Civil War," on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at 7 p.m.

Refreshments will be served at the event, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Library.
