ATV crash in Ettrick kills driver
One person was killed and one injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash yesterday evening in Ettrick.
Chesterfield County police said Theophilus D. Lewis, 45, of the 3300 block of Julep Drive in Ettrick was traveling south on his block when he lost control of a 1995 Polaris and struck a fence at 7:11 p.m.
Lewis was pronounced dead while being transported to a hospital.
A teenage passenger, whose identity was not released, was transported to VCU Medical Center with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
