‘Taste of Hanover’ to be Wednesday
Taste of Hanover |
You don't have to be a fisherman or a hunter to go to Bass Pro Shops on Wednesday night.
Just take your appetite.
The fifth annual Taste of Hanover will be at the mega sporting-goods store, and all proceeds go to Hanover ARC and Hanover Community Support Services, said Pat Thacker, a co-chairwoman of the event and a representative of community support services.
About 200 people showed up last year, she said.
Diners will get to rate each vendor, and awards will be given for best display, best cuisine and dessert, and more.
Last year's winner was O'Banks restaurant on Leadbetter Road.
This year's participants include old and new venues, such as Michelle's at Hanover Tavern, the Smokey Pig Restaurant, Homemades by Suzanne, Nacho Mama's and My Little Cupcake.
In addition to the food, there will be live entertainment and children's activities.
"We can't thank them enough," Thacker said of the restaurants. "They're donating everything."
