Biden to talk stimulus at J. Sarge before Deeds fundraiser
Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. will appear at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Henrico County Thursday afternoon to promote the federal stimulus package.
"The vice president will discuss how the Recovery Act is building a 21st-century economy in the Richmond area and across the nation," according to a statement this evening from Biden's office.
Later Thursday evening, Biden will attend a private fundraiser for state Sen. R. Creigh Deeds, the Democratic gubernatorial nominee, in Henrico at the home of Leon and Lisa Roday. Leon Roday is a senior vice president of Genworth Financial.
