Former first lady Barbara Bush hospitalized in Houston

HOUSTON (AP) -- Former first lady Barbara Bush is in a Houston hospital after complaining of a "little bit of pain."

Family spokesman Jim McGrath said Bush, 83, went to Methodist Hospital about 6 p.m. yesterday as a precaution. She had been experiencing some stomach pain this week but McGrath did not know what it was.

McGrath said all of the results for tests she had undergone had been negative, but she was held overnight as a precaution.

McGrath said former President George H.W. Bush is with her.
