DINWIDDIE -- A man was shot and fatally wounded this morning while Virginia State Police and federal agents were serving a search warrant at a house in Dinwiddie County.
State police Sgt. Thomas Molnar said no law-enforcement officers were wounded in the shooting, which occurred about 6:05 a.m. at 10007 Halifax Road, a short distance from a rear entrance of Richard Bland College.
Molnar said the male who was shot was taken to VCU Medical Center, where he died.
At the scene this afternoon, police officers said they would not identify the victim because his name was on a sealed federal warrant.
Officers said they were completing their investigation into the shooting and expected to search the home this afternoon.
Further details about circumstances that preceded the shooting and the nature of the search warrant were not immediately available.
State police were working in tandem with agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives at the time of the shooting.

I guess this post is not considered offensive. Several posts including one I wrote was considered offensive and removed. I forget that the media is about forming public opinion as opposed to reporting it. We are not the silence majority. We are the silenced majority.
