Here's a snapshot of emergency calls during the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 2, as reported by Metro Richmond fire departments.

RICHMOND

Fire Calls: 198 Emergency Medical Calls: 421 EMS: Cardiac arrest (7), chest pain (60), breathing problems (151), shooting (7), stabbing (4), unconsciousness (69).

Significant Events: Fire: 1200 block of N. 26th Street, house. One person arrested and charged with arson. Fire: 1200 block of Goddin Street, house. One person transported to hospital with smoke inhalation. Under investigation.

HENRICO

Fire Calls: 169 Emergency Medical Calls: 461

Significant Events: Fire: 2900 block of Portugee Road, single-family dwelling. Fire in and area the chimney area; extensive smoke damage throughout the house. One person injured with transport to the hospital; accidental. Hazardous Materials Incident: Haz Mat team requested to respond to Goochland County to assist on unknown spill in back of pickup truck on Interstate 64. Haz Mat team assisted Goochland Fire and Rescue until terminated.
