One dead in Richmond house fire

Richmond fire officials say one person died today in a house fire in the 2800 block of Third Avenue. The victim, a male, was found on the second floor of the two-story house, said fire Lt. Shawn L. Jones.

The fire was reported shortly before 6 p.m. There were multiple people living the house, Jones said, but he did not give a specific number. No other injuries were reported.
