A Chesterfield County man is under arrest in Henrico County for impersonating a Richmond police officer.

Johnny Eugene Quick, 44, of the 5100 block of Gention Road, is scheduled to make a court appearance Monday morning in Henrico General District Court after being arrested on a firearm charge and charges of abduction, rape and impersonating a police officer, according to Henrico police.

Quick was arrested Saturday afternoon following an incident Friday night in which a woman said she accepted a ride from Quick, who told her he was a police officer, according to Henrico police.

Quick, who was not wearing a uniform, drove the woman a few blocks into Henrico County from the Chamberlayne Avenue area of North Richmond and raped the woman before releasing her, according to police.

There were other questions pertaining to the other case.  Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the difference in the material in these cases.

I think what Nparole is saying is Henrico just had one of these incidents and now the prosecution has joined with the defense that they want to have the convicitons reversed.  The judge continued the sentencing date for both sides to provide a way for his to act on their request.  I agree with Nparole, that they do not take these matters seriously in many cases, they shold never look at any of these lightly.

What he did is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!He NEEDS to be shown that he or anyone else who thinks he can do something like this cannot get off lightly. Women are very intimated by anyone saying they are a police officer. There is a lot of trust and automatically believing someone when they say they are an officer. It is the ULTIMATE betrayal to pretend to be one!!

I bet they convict him like the last one and then change their minds at sentencing that this type of crime should not be prosecuted as prescribed.  Hey why not let them impersonate probation officers, lawyers, prosecutes and doesn’t Virginian still have parole officers, count them in also.  Where do you draw the line.
