Police investigate VCU-area rape

Richmond police describe one suspect as 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and the second suspect as 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 5 inches tall. Both have a thin build with little or no facial hair and were wearing black clothing at the time of the attack.

Richmond police tonight released composite sketches of two possible suspects who assaulted and raped a woman last month in a parking deck in the Virginia Commonwealth University area.

The woman was attacked about 1:45 a.m. on June 21 in the 1300 block of West Broad Street between North Lombardy and North Harrison streets, police said.

One of the suspects is described as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. The other is a black man about 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 5 inches, police said.

Both men are said to have a thin build with little or no facial hair, and both were wearing black clothes.
