BLACKSBURG -- Dustin Keys kicked a 28-yard field goal with 6:37 remaining today to lift Virginia Tech to a 17-14 victory over Virginia.

The win gives Tech a berth in next Saturday's ACC championship game in Tampa, Fla. The loss means Virginia, finishing the season at 5-7, will not be eligible for a bowl game.

U.Va. took a 14-7 halftime lead on two rushing touchdowns by Vic Hall. Tech tied the game on a third-quarter run by Greg Boone.
