VCU falls to Vanderbilt in Cancun Challenge

Vanderbilt outscored VCU 71-66 last night at The Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico, despite a strong second-half performance by the Rams.

On Saturday, Virginia Commonwealth University had played tough defense in the second half to pull out a 67-55 victory over New Mexico at the Cancun Challenge. The Rams were 3-2 going into the game against Vanderbilt.
