Chance of light rain today
The National Weather Service is calling for a 40 percent chance of rain in the Richmond area today with a high near 72 degrees.
Tomorrow there will be a 20 percent chance of showers after noon with a high near 79 degrees.
The chance of afternoon showers remains at 20 percent Saturday, when the high is projected at 84 degrees.
Rounding out the weekend, Sunday should be mostly sunny with a high of 84.
