Bellevue Ave. murder suspect cleared
A charge of conspiracy to commit murder was dismissed today against Rodney L. Wright Jr., and Richmond prosecutors said an investigation has cleared him.
Wright, 24, had been charged in the shooting death of Harold A. Jefferson, 18, on June 11 in the 1100 block of Bellevue Avenue. Wright's attorney, Greg Hough, said the murder charge had prompted death threats against his client.
