Monroe passes N.C. test to become sworn officer

The Charlotte Observer reports that former Richmond Police Chief Rodney Monroe has passed the North Carolina state exam required for becoming a sworn officer who is allowed to carry a gun and make arrests in that state.
Monroe, now police chief in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, N.C., had been working under temporary certification that was to have expired the end of this month.

Monroe is so “yesterday”. What a comment to make! When you forget the mistakes done in the past, you are doomed to repeat them! The problem is, the people who recommended Monroe to be hired are not identified and not permitted to recommend anyone else for that position.
Oh, Richmond, get a life! Why waste time taking potshots at the past? Monroe is so “yesterday” for us. Besides, it’s our own fault! Total lack of due diligence on our part.
Who took the test for him? Someone should check to see if he completed all of the sections needed for qualification.
Nah, they just gave him the answers and graded with a bell curve.
I wonder if he received a “Take Home Test” since he is so busy with his daily duties?
