Chesterfield County police say this morning they arrested 14 men in a two-day undercover operation in which officers posed as prostitutes along the Jefferson Davis Highway corridor.
Police said the undercover officers were approached by men who requested sex for pay. Once the requests were made, police said, they were taken into custody by other officers nearby. The undercover operation took place Thursday and Friday.
Those arrested range from 23 to 74 years old, authorities said. They were charged with soliciting for prostitution and the use of a vehicle while soliciting for prostitution.

I say make it legal and charge the heck out of the providers and the patrons. It would certainly take care of some of the budget shortfalls.

what a useless waste of police resources…leave the women (uh, sometimes guys) and the “johns” freakin’ alone…let people make some extra money as they choose, not as they are told by the “establishment” who has so many “pent up” issues that they shouldn’t be allowed to enforce/make the laws..

let the world’s oldest profession be…

I think police should put this kind of attention on catching the real criminals.  These are pointless arrests.

74 Y/O - So some suggest age should allow you a pass on illegal activity?  I am 62 - when do I get my pass.  There are a lot of disgusting 74 year olds out there you would not want in your neighborhood.  Check out the names on NBC12 site.  Might a few be here illegally?

It’s not called the oldest profession for nothing. Get over it. Legalize it, tax it, and control it.

Come on now a 74 year old man got arested here this is all wrong poor guy. Chesterfield County police has nothing better to do to pick on a 74 year old man.  They least should cut senoir citizens a break here last couple of years of his life just wanted to be happy and have a woman. All the crime going on in the county with cars and houses being broke into every night this is what they need to be doing setting up sting operation for all these thieves. Go after real crime chesterfield county police and protect our property’s and cars.

Did anyone notice that only men were arrested?  I think this is proof that men are unfairly targeted by the police.
