Men sentenced in Richmond beatings
Two men were sentenced to lengthy prison terms for the fatal beating of one man and for beating another man nearly to death the same day in South Richmond.
Jose C. Bello-Garcia was ordered to serve 40 years in prison, and Jose Raul Gaitan to serve 25 years, on Monday in Richmond Circuit Court.
The two defendants beat to death Baudilio Lopez-Andres, 52, in an abandoned house along Jefferson Davis Highway on March 29, using their fists, feet and construction debris, authorities said. He died two days later.
The defendants attacked the victim while they were drinking in the abandoned house, authorities said.
After the first beating, the two defendants went with another man, who had witnessed the attack on Lopez-Andres, to get beer at the nearby Golden Food Market, authorities said.
The defendants took this man behind the store and beat him severely, leaving him disfigured and with damaged vision, authorities said.

Usually ONE in the household- the woman- will get a “regular” job that does not actually check out the “papers”/green card”. Then several others will live there doing the questionable jobs- here and there- with a lot of cash involved. That way they can send for the rest of their family. USA is easy prey for these people!No! I do not think they contribute ANYTHING but TROUBLE!
The illegal immigration in this country is strange. How can it be that someone is here illegally but can still attend school, get services, etc. I do not suppose the cheap labor they provide has anything to do with it. Think about it, if all illegals were shipped out how would we handle the tasks they do and the resulting rise in prices.

I cant stand the illegals, legals YES!!!. But considering the percentage of mexicans here and their percentage to the crimes committed, the hispanic race (legal or illegal) is the least of our worries.

And yet our country is still opening its doors to these illegals. How many more people have to die at the hands of these disgusting people?
Sick and disturbing! These are the illegal immigrants that everyone is so quick to welcome into our country, yes, they contribute to our society… they contribute to overpopulation, overburden the school systems and jails/prisons. You will see more stories like this as time goes on.
