Funeral today for pregnant woman found dead after Henrico fire
-- A funeral is scheduled this morning for the woman who was found dead after a fire New Year's Eve at her Henrico County home.
Keiona Cecilia Tiree Braxton, 26, was found dead by firefighters in an apartment in the 5700 block of Crenshaw Road.
But Henrico court documents show that she had wounds not consistent with the fire. A search warrant suggests that Braxton may have been shot, stabbed and left to perish in the fire.
One woman, Kayla C. Armstrong, 25, is being held in connection with Braxton's death.
The two women had been involved in arguments before, authorities say. Braxton and her boyfriend, Kenneth Lee, had both obtained protection orders against Armstrong, who has a child by Lee.
Braxton was three months pregnant at the time of her death.
The service is this morning, followed by burial at Maury Cemetery.
