Police seek help in Richmond coin-shop heist

Richmond police are looking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in last week's armed robbery of the Modern Coin Co. downtown. Authorities also released a video of the robbery yesterday.

The first suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-7, with a medium complexion and stocky build. He was last seen wearing a dark ski mask and light-colored gloves.

The second suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, with a medium complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing light-colored gloves, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.

Modern Coin at 212 E. Grace St. was robbed Oct. 14 at noon. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
