Man arrested in Henrico double shooting

Henrico County police have made one arrest in Tuesday afternoon's double shooting at Glenwood Farms apartment complex near Mechanicsville Turnpike and East Laburnum Avenue.

Police found a 47-year-old man who had been shot in the chest and a 20-year-old man shot in the leg. Witnesses said one of several people detained by arriving officers had gotten into an argument with one of the victims and then shot him, police said.

Police did not release the name of the man arrested, citing the ongoing investigation. Both victims, who were taken to VCU Medical Center, are expected to survive, officials said. -- Melodie N. Martin
