UPDATE: 2 sought in North Richmond homicide
Police are seeking two males in last night's shooting death in North Richmond.
A male was pronounced dead at VCU Medical Center less than two hours after he was found lying on a grassy area in the 1100 block of Bellevue Avenue just west of Chamberlayne Avenue.
His identity was being withheld this morning pending notification of relatives.
Richmond police Capt. Harvey S. Powers said the suspects were two black males, about 6 feet tall, and both were wearing black T-shirts.

Phyllis Arrington, a resident of the nearby Abbey Square Apartments, said she heard multiple gunshots tonight while she was inside an apartment.
Various police officials were on site at one point as a crowd of about 20 people across Chamberlayne watched police process the scene.
