A nanny sought by Henrico County police after she was charged with stealing money from a piggy bank belonging to a child in her care has been arrested in the Tidewater area of southeastern Virginia.

Lt. Doug Perry said Lindsey S. Romero, 26, whose last known address was in Glen Allen, was arrested Tuesday in Virginia Beach.

Henrico police began looking for Romero after she failed to appear for her arraignment on a charge of grand larceny.

Perry said a large amount of money in a piggy bank was discovered missing at a home where Romero was working, and she was later seen on camera stealing more money, leading to her arrest.

When the RTD makes news of someone stealing a piggy bank it just shows how desperate the paper is for sensation.  What a loser article.
