Richmond police ID woman found dead in Museum District
Richmond police yesterday identified a woman whose body was found Wednesday morning outside an apartment complex in the city's Museum District.
The body of Jessica L. Pascual, 20, of the 3400 block of Kensington Avenue was discovered about 6:14 a.m. in a driveway at the side entrance to an apartment complex at Kensington and Nansemond streets, near where she lived.
Police are waiting for the state medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death. A spokeswoman said yesterday that the results are pending further tests and review.
A manager for Ellwood Thompson's Natural Market on North Thompson Street, where Pascual apparently worked, said he was instructed not to talk about the matter but indicated a statement would be issued in coming days. -- Mark Bowes
